True Ancient Greek renewal, in my view, comes from educational methods that build true literacy, enabling students to read fluently from the New Testament to Homer. Practicing Byzantine textsbooks has been very effective for my intermediate students. https://t.co/fOebcEt7JA

Dios no revela con discursos, sino por medio de experiencias. El autor sagrado no transmite un discurso divino, sus palabras expresan una experiencia otorgada.

Peter's response isn't just theological statement — it's a confession born of divine revelation· «Σὺ εἶ ὁ Χριστὸς ὁ Υἱὸς τοῦ Θεοῦ τοῦ ζῶντος.» #LearnAncientGreek

ἐφόδιον - New video dropped! Matthew 16:16. https://t.co/i77o1xjBro In this pivotal dialogue at Caesarea, Jesus asks the question that echoes through centuries: «Ὑμεῖς δὲ τίνα με λέγετε εἶναι;» (But who do you say that I am?)

At the end of last year, by the invitation of triodos/trivium, I taught an ancient Greek course using the famous book by Athenaze. The course lasted ten weeks. The course ended but at the insistence of my students a second level of ten more weeks was offered again... 🧵

This clip is the perfect encapsulation of the real “Mediterranean mindset” It’s not about stupid shit like sunning your balls or larping as an ancient Roman… it’s always been about LEISURE
