The @blueridgenps (from milepost 0-198 in VA) will reopen at 8am, 10/11. Hikers are advised to use caution—storms may have left downed trees, loose rocks, and blocked trails. NPS hopes to reopen the remainder of the parkway in Virginia within the next two weeks.

4. Exercise caution on trails, as they may be muddy and slippery near streams and waterfalls due to recent rainfall. 5. From 3/1 to 11/30, visitors to Old Rag Mountain, including hikers on the Saddle, Ridge, and Ridge Access trails, will need to obtain an Old Rag day-use ticket.
