There are great hiking trails throughout Utah, but conditions vary with each season. During the springtime, trails can be muddy, slushy and dangerous. Explore Utah’s drier regions for safer hiking—and less mud hitching a ride home on your boots. #ForeverMighty. 📸: Adam Clark

The City Creek Mall is a good place for supplies, but 10/10 would not recommend, probably, if you're wanting to avoid unexpected run-ins with fungus zombies.

To safely and comfortably enjoy your next hike during Utah’s winter months, make sure to start early and hike slowly, wearing traction gear like spikes to keep your balance. Don’t forget to bring extra layers, sun protection, your camera and plenty of snacks and water.
