One of the witnesses to this week's domestic violence homicide in Albert Lea is Sabrina Schnoor's mother. Sabrina was shot and killed by her boyfriend in 2023 and included in our 2023 Homicide Report. This should never, ever happen.

Why is the criminal history of a murdered woman relevant to a 2025 article about the identification of her murderer? In 2014, @StarTribune, in another article about her murder, called Nanette a "street prostitute and crack addict." 10 years later, you're still dehumanizing her.
