Satchel Paige signed 1974 Oklahoma Oilers Program from when Satch was their pitching coach. Took a closer up shot to avoid glare from the PSA case. Cheers and thank you all for the great vintage vibes.

One of my favorite Type 1 photos of Jackie Robinson in my Type 1 collection. I still have so many Type 1s to post. I will slowly chip away starting with many of my favorites. I hope you all enjoy!

A fun post for Mickey Mantle Monday that will also do double duty as a Willie Mays Wednesday post too π Two of my favorite signed baseball cards in my collection. So hard to beat the 1960 Topps set visually for the color pop. Love signed vintage cards when they pop nicely.

Good Morning Hobby Friends. I know the Leaf Jackie RC and Bond Bread get the headlines and attention but there is still a large amount of collectors out there that are unaware of the low pop 1948 Swell Sport Thrill Jackie Robinson card. Captures the importance of the debut.

Hope you all are jumping into the weekend with full force. Sharing this wonderful Card Image Type 1 photo of the Detroit Tiger great: Charlie Gehringer which was used for his 1936 Batter Up baseball card. Hope you all enjoy and have a great weekend.

Throwback Thursday - two well loved and well handled classics that left the PC recently. Hard to beat any baseball card of Babe Ruth or Christy Mathewson, especially a Goudey & T206. I find a certain romance to the patina of these type of cards that have been aged by time.

Happy Hump Day and I hope you all are singing for the fences like these two Yankee greats. Love the designs on both of these timeless classics. The Lou Gehrig is card 160 of the 1933 Goudey set and then1948 Leaf Joe DiMaggio is card 1 of the set. Cheers!

One of my favorites. Pop 12 for the grade (PSA 2). Total pop 34. Super tough set with just over 200 total cards from the entire set in the pop report. 1951 Topps Major League All Stars Larry Doby

A fun two for Tuesday combo. As a kid collector in the 80s I loved Catfish Hunter and Brooks Robinson (and of course Mickey Mantle and all the old goats). My good friend Vik and I would TTM auto requests. Catfish & Brooks were always great. 40 years later, Vik sends me these π

Back in the day, this is how we did itπ These are my first vintage baseball cards I got as a kid collector in the 1980s. I got these circa 1985-86. I have loved the 1958 Topps cards of Pee Wee Reese, Roberto Clemente, and Mickey Mantle ever since. Happy Friday and Cheers!

Throw back Thursday lost to two of my childhood favorites. Boy they sure were fun to watch! Eric Davis was so electrifying and explosive when healthy and Cal Ripken Jr was so consistent and carried himself with such class. Being a kid collector in the 1980s sure was fun.

A Throwback Thursday for two well worn and handled all time goats that recently rotated out of my PC. For me, there is a certain romance with the patina of a well handled card of all time greats like Babe Ruth and Christy Mathewson. Hard to beat Goudey and T206 cards for sure.

A fun little duo that left the stable today and are off to a new home. Love the 49 Bowman Satchel Paige and of course any Goudey Babe Ruth is a home run for sure. Cheers.

Throwback Thursday to a timeless classic that I still miss. This one was a PWCC-A and so sharp for the SGC 5.5 grade. A Satchel Paige in any grade is a beauty in my opinion. Cheers!

A fun two for Tuesday post of the Chicago Cubs great, Ernie Banks. Mr. Cub sure has some great early cards especially going up to his 1961 Topps card in my opinion. Here is his 1954 Topps RC in a SGC 5 & 1955 Topps in a SGC 4. As Ernie would say, "Let's Play Two". Cheers!

Mickey Mantle Monday π This 61 is an SGC 4.5. As a kid collector I wasnβt the biggest fan of the 61 Topps design. However, over the years, the minimalistic & clean design of the 61s has really grown on me. Pair it with the New York Yankees legend and it's hard to beat π
