In 2017-18, the Taylor Hall MVP year, the New Jersey Devils acquired Pat Maroon to help them get into the playoffs. He played a key leadership role down the stretch. Then he won 3 straight Stanley Cups (STL, 2x TBL). His experiences over the years will make him a great coach.

Jack Hughes is underrated at this point. When he’s healthy, there are not 10 players in the NHL I’d rather have over JH86. If he plays 80+ games in 2025-26, he will have 100 points with the New Jersey Devils.
