You’re right. it’s sad but true. Some Somalis have learned to laugh at or follow people who insult them because they’ve gotten used to seeing themselves put down. It’s a sign of deep hurt and confusion that comes from years of colonization, division, and low self-worth.
Some Somalis have an inferiority complex. The man or woman who degrades them is who they follow. I’ve seen accounts grow from the hundreds to the tens of thousands simply by mocking, dividing, and humiliating Somalis. It’s fascinating, real life humiliation rituals. A colonized
