And yet, the person is not competent. It will scatter. I’ve discovered that in a bid to build structure, many people employ friends instead of employing competence. And when you employ friends without competence, you will pay the price.

Structure does not mean they have to be your tribe. Because if it’s tribal structures you’re building, I promise you it will break. There’s also what I call church people structure. “She’s attending my church…”. “He’s attending your church…”

When discounts become your daily strategy, they no longer scream “value”, they scream “desperation.” . You are desperate to sell, so you slash the price. You’re desperate to push it out, so you cut it down.

Because if people are buying at ₦30,000, ₦50,000, or even ₦100,000, you have no need to give a discount. Discount is not a bad idea but how often do you give it? . Some people give discounts every single day. That tells us something: you’re not selling at the price you set.

A program was selling for ₦30,000 or ₦50,000 and all of a sudden, the same person is giving a 50% discount. That’s saying something they’re not saying out loud, it looks like people are not buying it at that price.

Discounts often signal desperation, not value. When you are given a discount, it’s telling something about you. It’s telling that you are afraid of selling it at the price you claim it’s worth.

You connect. You build trust. But when you buy contacts from another person, they’re like. “I don’t know you before, blocked.". “I don’t know you before, blocked.”. “I don’t know you before, blocked.”. You’re wasting time, energy, and your name. So don’t buy customers.

You're claiming, “Oh, do you know I'm an influencer?”. Hello, please go and tell that to the bread seller and see if she won’t arrest you. Influencer cannot buy bread. It is MONEY that buys bread. When a client is holding your money, learn to GO FOR IT.

Send that email, Send that DM, Knock on that Door. Why are you exactly afraid of sending emails? I want to know, like, why are you afraid?. You’ll eventually discover that you're afraid for NOTHING. Somebody is holding your money, but you’re scared to follow up.
