Paralemmin-1 as a novel component of the neuronal cytoskeleton! Check this out: "Paralemmin-1 controls the nanoarchitecture of the neuronal submembrane cytoskeleton"

We observed that a single mutation of Palm1 abolishes its MPS-binding and remodeling functions. Interestingly, Palm1 binds ß-spectrin in a region prone to mutate, causing neurodevelopmental disorders in humans. Check it out!
