What happened in this #platypus? 😕 Encapsulated, ~1cm radio-dense structures- what are they? That is the question explored in a new paper from Henrik Lauridsen @PeterRMoeller and coauthors (of whom I was lucky to be one) https://t.co/a1cxhO5mGI 1/7

New paper out today in @iobopen. Just in time for Amy Lagorio’s talk at @anatomyorg this afternoon! We tried to capture the joys of teaching imaging approaches to a group of students and faculty during Covid. This stuff takes a village. @AnatomyMizzou

Strongly endorse @cjaw_art as an exceptional researcher and mentor. Plus this is a great project!
Oh, and I suppose I should have said before here, that I have moved from @ZoophysiologyAU to @Husdyrforskning, where I have started a tenure track position in #Anatomy and #Pathophysiology. 5/4. Thank you to everyone who made my time there and my new position possible.

🐔 have keel bones. They are often (~80% of laying birds) fractured by the end of hens' lives. I am really excited that @DFF_raad have decided to fund a project looking at how these fractures relate to the nervous and cardiorespiratory systems and tell us about birds' pain . 1/4

Very proud to be part of this collaboration with @akelvinlab, which was led by our talented post-doc Dr Sarah Rouhana & some outstanding graduate students @magiefrancis & @CardiacKathy. We need more of these types collaborations to solve our most pressing health problems.
👏Congratulations to the authors of "Sex differences in the cardiac stress response following SARS-CoV-2 infection of ferrets"(Rouhana, Jacyniak et al.) on winning this month's #APSselect award 🏆in @ajpheartcirc! https://t.co/0S5hk2pOnK
