Could the reason that someone who was 170th in points made Top 8 at worlds not be that there was no difference between being 17th or 170th for what invite you're getting.

I don't really see the issue with players having to compete to make it to the World Championships. In my head nobody is owed an invite, simply for being good at the game and invites should be for the players who performed exceptionally well in a given season.

Something i cant stop thinking about is how celebrities are kinda whitewashed politically? Like Ariana Grande speaks up for Trans Rights, Palestine, against ICE, reposts AOC but I am an incredibly woke individual while she is just a "liberal celebrity" to me and idt its my fault.
