Had the misfortune to catch #theinnercircle last night. An absolutely horrible show where nobody is honest or kind and some greedy git 'wins' the money. Reminds me to much of the awful Golden Balls. No, I won't be watching that again!

This really made me chuckle this morning. 🤣 I chuck mine in a teabag pot then put them in the composter when full. I find they make the bin stink otherwise. 🤔

I am so sad for the passing of her Royal Highness, the Duchess of Kent though I had the privilege of calling Katherine. What she did for me personally was an amazing thing. RIP and thank you so very much for all the good you have done.

Sadly 2 weeks ago we had to say goodbye to our beloved Dora. Today I collected her ashes from the vet and upon arriving home found they had made a pawprint for us, taken a fur clipping, & also included some forget-me-not seeds. So thougtful and kind. #petloss #inlovingmemory

I start a new job tomorrow, I finshed my last job on June 6th. Job hunting has been a somewhat demoralising and frustrating experience but it all came good in the end. I'm really looking forward to a new start. 🙂 #NewJob #redundancy

Summer party at Dad's care home today. Sadly as it was wet it had to be held indoors rather than the garden as planned. Dad won a jigsaw puzzle with cars on it in the raffle which we were all over the moon about. We also had a great sing song to 60's hits.

This is my only surviving dahlia but what a beauty it is. ❤️

Job interviews these days are not just one round and that's it, they are usually at least 3. In my most recent experiences I'd say this is unecessary , they could easily be condensed into one or two at a push. Nothing more deflating than going through all that and being rejected.

Yesterday I collected these, crikey has the world always been this loud? 😱😁 They are quite brilliant and not really visible when wearing, I cannot believe what a difference they have already made. My only regret is that I didn't get my ears checked sooner. #hearingloss
