Hot Take, Sol Ring isn’t that great. I play Commander so I have it. It’s good, but if you need 2 mana on turn 1 that bad you’re probably already losing. The more interesting way to use it is right at the end of the game to pay Rhystic Study triggers. It’s very risky though.
