Welcome to Ontario. Here, you have to convince someone you should be able to move into the property you own. Bill 60 is great but we have a long way to go.

If you're a landlord and you're "popular" or "well known" you need to be meticulous with your property & management of it. You can't be putting yourself in this position. https://t.co/LJrovLCxoN

What type of drugs do you need to be smoking to pay $543,000 for a condo with no bedroom?

Why is it when tenants don’t pay rent they like to tarnish the reputation of everyone else. God forbid tenants should be held accountable. It’s always the toxic tenant unions and their followers that cry foul and make a ton of noise but don’t contribute much to housing.

Landlords everywhere are sitting tight waiting for the new N12 rules to take effect. Paying a tenant so you can move into your own house is coming to an end!

I wrote about Sayan Navaratnam’s connection to fraudster real estate developer Shajiraj Nadarajalingam of Ideal Developments here:
Ideal Developments owned by Shajiraj Nadarajalingam (or "Shaji" as he is often called) was once a full fledging real estate development company with numerous projects in the pipelines including high-rise condos, townhomes, mansions and pre-fabs in the GTA.

The Ford government gave about $2.5M from its Skills Development Fund to businesses backed by Sayan Navaratnam. Navaratnam’s company FaceDrive settled Ontario Security Commission charges by agreeing to pay $340K in penalties and costs. Navaratnam was personally fined $75K +.

L1 application filed today gives you a hearing date of Feb 17th 2026. A 70 day wait for justice. Then a 30 day wait for the order. The order will give the tenant more time to come up with the money. Then the sheriff. A landlord is easily looking at 5 months of losses.
