When I Started auditing I used to look up at the leaderboard wishing one day I might win one day. Well this 1st place means a lot. It was first time i did 2.2k loc audit in 5 days so feels amazing. Even beat LSW on this one. Will continue to try even harder.

It doesn't get better than receiving a compliment directly from the protocol developers themselves.

🔍⛽️ When examining the surge in liquidation events, we notice that liquidators tend to pay higher gas fees (💸⛽️) compared to the average gas price. This is done to prioritize their transactions and ensure borrowers are unable to repay in time (⏰🔒).

Liquidation events play a vital role in safeguarding a protocol from insolvency. The liquidators have done an impressive job, as reflected in the negative outstanding debt volume 📉. This indicates that a significant portion of the borrowed amount has been successfully recovered

💡📉 The key insight here is that as the collateral ratio declines (⬇️📉), it results in a rise in liquidation events (📈💧).

Dividing 292,870.59 by 246,555.04 gives us 1.18, providing a rough estimate of the collateral ratio. ⚖️📊 Thus, the collateral ratio was less than 1.18 therefore leading to liquidation.

🔎📉 To gauge if the collateral ratio fell below the 1.25 mark, let's observe that the liquidator purchased USDT (💲) worth $246,555.04 to repay the asset to the Aave protocol. In return, the liquidator received $292,870.59 worth of WETH (🔄🌩️), including the liquidation bonus.

In the end, after subtracting gas fees, the liquidator earns a profit of approximately $11,777.98. 💰🚀 📉⛽️ #LiquidationEvents #ProfitableLiquidation #CryptoTransactions
