7/ Overall, we are so excited to see the best Short Fiction, Flash, Micro, Poetry, Visual Art, Comics, Translations, Non-Fiction, and Reviews you can offer, especially as spooky season approaches.

6/ to match some of this, we have also increased our pay for writers, from $10 to $13 for both Poetry and Visual Art, and 23 for all prose (CNF/Fiction), we are unable to still pay for reviews and interviews at this time. We hope to change that soon.

5/ so if the fee is a lot, plz know we will work to make sure this fee doesn't become a barrier, just reach out to our general @ submissions.varietypack@gmail.com and we will work to make sure that is waived.

4/ HOWEVER, if 3.00 is an issue, we absolutely will issue a financial assistance waiver, I can at least say I can know what it's like for 3 bucks to be a difference maker between rent at the end of the month. Although there is a fee, we're human, the economy sucks, & shit happens.

3/ that said, we will also be charging a $3.00 submission fee; to be perfectly honest this is something we really want to be a temporary feature until we can find a more sustainable funding, but as of right now this is the path we're choosing.

2/ excluding interview/review/review .essay submissions (which you can still submit at varietypackreviews@gmail.com) we will be accepting submissions through a new submission manager @duosuma.
