The last time a team outside of the SEC, Big 10, and ACC won the national championship was 2005. That team is in the SEC now. Gotta go back to 1990 Colorado for the last winner that isn’t in those conferences now.
BYU is 6-0 and Utah is 5-1. You’d think this would get some national notoriety, perhaps College Gameday, but no. I miss the old days of highlighting all of college football, instead of just the SEC and Big 10.

Illinois lost by 53. No amount of forceful ignorance will make people forget that.
A couple things that puzzle me on the most recent AP Poll: Two loss Notre Dame: Ranked 13th. Those two losses: No.2 Miami and No. 4 Texas A&M. Two loss Illinois: Unranked. Their two losses: No. 1 Ohio State and No. 3 Indiana. One loss USC: No. 21. That one loss: #Illinois.
