Like so many of you, I'm stunned and saddened by the news of Bob Holt's passing. It's difficult to imagine a press conference without his questions and our lighthearted banter. Bob was a great man and will be deeply missed by all of us.

College baseball lost one, if not the greatest coach of all time. I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to not only compete against him, but also get to know him away from the diamond. He was a mentor to so many. God bless and thank you coach Garrido.
After recently being hospitalized following a stroke, Legendary Longhorn baseball coach, five-time National Champion and the NCAA's all-time wins leader Augie Garrido passed away on Thursday at the age of 79.
