If you want *my* suggestions on how to show that you actually support your kid, here's some off the top of my head with little thought.

Slightly more clarity on their gender dysphoria. All your job as a parent is, is to be there for your fucking kid. They're gonna be traumatized from being trans in this society, It's awful and I hate it but it's unavoidable. You can at least insure your not adding to the trauma.

It's not a fucking choice to be trans. It's not something they wake up and decide they want to be, it's a realization of what has been missing, or what needs to be changed and it's not a flip of "I'm trans so everything's better now." It's just a word that gives other people-
