.@Meta is seeking discovery from whistleblower Frances Haugen in 'addiction' suit. Haugen wants to invoke journalist's privilege, arguing she authored the book The Power of One. Meta counters that Haugen is not a journalist and that her "memoir" is not "akin to news reporting."

It sure does make one wonder why all the Omidyar backed whistleblower support & tech accountability orgs somehow never seem to have anything to say about eBay. 🤨.
Given ongoing fallout of eBay stalking scandal that targeted journalists to influence reporting & out an anon source & growing body of evidence of long-standing systemic labor, ethics & corp governance issues - where are the $EBAY whistleblowers?🗣️.
