How the region handles setting the next generation of water guidelines will be crucial in establishing policy that is fair and ensures water supply for generations to come.

If you thought things were slowing down, think again. Numbers continue to show that Arizona is still attracting a great deal of development and investment, with 487 active projects in the pipeline.

Projects like this help ensure Arizona has a diverse supply of affordable energy to help the state keep pace with growth. Our state needs to continue to add to our power portfolio.

Johnson: Phoenix Mayo draws patients globally, and as a popular Sunbelt state for retirees, our senior population's increasing care needs make the growth of healthcare facilities incredibly impactful.

Purves: Valleywise's core mission includes workforce and teaching. Every physician recruited to Phoenix creates a ripple effect that increases per capita income and strengthens our healthcare workforce.

Cohen asks, "What is Valleywise and Mayo's partnership like?" .Purves: We are symbiotic; we don't compete because we are each unique. Mayo offers top-end care not possible in every hospital. Dr. Lester: We are both ends of the spear. We can provide care for all people, together.

Dr. Lester: Mayo's Phoenix Campus is now 450 acres, some of which is to serve for generational growth. We are doubling down on our presence here.

Johnson: As Phoenix expands, healthcare follows the rooftops. Most times, the hospital is the hub, and the communities are the spokes.

Purves: Since completing Prop 480, Maricopa County has continued to grow, which allows Valleywise to support this increase in population. Prop 409 will help us expand our behavioral health services at a time when it is pivotal to our communities.

Purves: Just because people lose their coverage doesn't mean they will not come to the hospital. Medicaid helps cover some monthly costs for patients to avoid medical emergencies that can cost our system hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Kohler: While I support everyone working, new monthly requirements for proof of work for eligibility are significant hurdles. Many will lose coverage, shifting the burden to hospitals to fill the gap. This inefficiency means more uninsured.

Kohler: Arizona has an extra layer of protection because of Prop 204 for Medicaid. Preliminary estimates suggest that between 200,000 and 350,000 more Arizonans will be uninsured if these changes are implemented.

Kohler: Who is eligible for AHCCCS (Arizona's Medicaid program)? .Arizona voters believe that all people, up to a certain income, are eligible for Medicaid (Prop 204).
