7 days without electricity Dec 23-30 in some areas in QC. Cities should maintain an up to date list of homes without an alternate heating source (= vulnerable). Underground power lines and giant back-up batteries may help.

Day 3: MCI Response - Insights from St Mary’s Hospital: 1)Ensure one-way progression: ED > Radiology > OR or ward. 2)Inter facility transfers must be done by other entities - not ambulances. 3)Need loggists to note nature, timing & rational behind decisions.

Highlights from Dr. Souaiby’s talk at the 2021 Emergency Prep @SparkConfer today. When treating blast victims remember to check for ruptured tympanic membrane. Also ensure you have paper checklists prepared for medical charting as they can be filled out faster.
