INSURANCE REFORM WIN!.We passed insurance bills aimed at correcting LA's flawed insurance system this year. HB450 overturned the Housley Presumption, closing the loophole for fraudulent injury claims in wrecks. If you claim an injury due to a wreck, you must prove it.

SR204 - Comite River Diversion Canal Task Force was just renewed, hopefully for the last time!.I look forward to FINALLY getting the water flowing from the Comite River to the Mississippi River. We are also urging FEMA to redraw the flood maps for LOWER flood insurance rates.
