The ValCelMat project aims to valorise cellulose in new applications (packaging, textiles, additives for bioplastics). The cellulose will be chemically modified to give it new functionalities (resistance to humidity, fire, etc.) while retaining its good intrinsic properties. 🌱

Hier a eu lieu à Béthune l’évènement de lancement du projet ValCelMat. Ce projet est destiné à inscrire les procédés chimiques de transformation de la cellulose de manière plus éco-responsable et innovant pour le carton, le textile et les matériaux composites.

Gisteren vond in BĂ©thune het lanceringsevenement plaats van het ValCelMat project. Het doel van dit project is om chemische processen voor de omzetting van cellulose in karton, textiel en composietmaterialen ecologisch verantwoorder en innovatiever te maken.
