He said nothing wrong. The tragedy with Hindooism is, that its followers abandoned it completely and adopted hotch potch of Brahminic Buddhism, Jainism, and backward aspects of Islam.
“Don’t become like Muslims, that would be our biggest tragedy.” Not Yogi Adityanath, not some random acharya, but Sri Sri Javed Akhtar. This man uses the Muslim card when it suits him & gaslights Ms when he wants to coddle the majority for brownie points.

Mahayana Buddhism forced pongas to forget Yajnas, Homa, Soma, Indra, Varuna, Vayu, Animal Sacrifice, Fire worship, Vedas etc. and switch to a cheap imitation of Buddhism - Idol Worship, Vishnu, Mahesh, Kali, Durga, Puranas etc. Mahayana Buddhism changed Lindus forever.
It's Soma rass, you cannot execute "Homa" rituals without it. Two key requirements for Hindoo ritualism are, 1. Animal sacrifice, 2. Getting drunk under influence of Soma. However Hindoos of today have forgotten their own religion.
