A section of Hindus are forcing us Buddhists to take a hostile stand against Hindus. We Buddhists are peace loving and would want nothing other than mutual respect. I call upon all well-meaning Hindus to correct their fellow Hindus. Our country cannot afford a Dharmic rivalry.

If nobody cares, then what's the point of adopting a varna? If I adopt brahmin varna I would like someone to care and acknowledge that I am a brahmin. If nobody cares, then the whole varna system is useless and should be trashed immediately.

My question was to the Hindu who took the Buddha being used as a literary device very very seriously. The goal of Mahayana Sutras especially the Vaipulyas is completely different. It's meant to inspire, awe and amaze the readers and the listeners. Neither Mahayana in general.

The "Vajrasuci" is a masterful polemic work that attacks the Hindu caste system. I believe it got buried in history and despite what many academics say, I sincerely believe it predates the poorly written Hindu text that calls itself "Vajrasuci Upanished" and was actually a work.

I can't clarify for the same reason that I choose not to tell you why exactly I say Vaipulya Sutras are different from Pragnyaparamita Sutras. The way you are reading the Vaipulyas is the way you should be reading the Pragnyaparamitas.
@Vajrasuci @AngomSanu Despite differences in our interpretation of Lalitavistara Sutra , didn't Traditional Buddhist Madhyamaka hold these Sutras as Buddha Vachana??. Like in both Sanskrit and Tibetan the narrator of Sutra is Shakyamuni himself. Any views ?.
