7/3 update: We are still a go for the fireworks show in Vail tomorrow! We were on-site this morning and the fuels remain unreceptive to ignition. As a precaution we are installing a temporary sprinkler system around the launch site.

Our crews will be conducting pile burn operations over the next few months as conditions permit. These burns will take place in West Vail. This project will reduce hazardous fuels conditions on town owned land and decrease wildfire hazards to the adjacent community.

It's technically spring, but March tends to be a very snowy month in Colorado. If you have to get out on the roads today, slow down and take your time getting to your destination.
