I was honored to moderate yesterday's #cyber/#ICT security SBD at the @OSCECiO Conference, organized by @FCDOGovUK and @StateCDP. After moderating many such exercises, I can say that everyone's thoughtful commitment to co-operation and de-escalation was without compare. @theGFCE.

CBMs are a great tool for reducing risks of conflict from use of #ICT, but also promoting #cybercapacitybuilding in any given region. I was honored to have led the two-day the discussion on how new Measures can come online in the @ecowas_cedeao, organized with @giz_gmbh.
Over the past two days, @theGFCE has worked with @giz_gmbh, @ecowas_cedeao Commission and member states to explore how #cyber CBMs can work as a cyber security & diplomacy tool in the region. Following discussions and a #ttx, 18 CBMs were proposed in this important first step👏

It is a pleasure to be in Abuja to present on #CyberSecurity CBMs, what lessons can be taken by policy makers in @ecowas_cedeao and how @theGFCE can support the process. Especially looking forward to our workshop on the 13th and 14th!.
At the launch of a Joint Platform for Advancing Cyber Security in #Abuja by @giz_gmbh & @ecowas_cedeao, #theGFCE presented its efforts on coordinating global #cybercapacitybuilding & adopting #cyber CBMs in ECOWAS. We look forward to our workshop on CBMs in ECOWAS from 13-14 Sep.

It was an honour to take the stage with Kerry-Ann Barrett from @OAS_Cyber, Nicholas Natale from @GAC_Corporate and @VRadunovic from @DiplomacyEdu. Demistifying and connecting the #cyber ecosystem is key to promoting the human dimension in #cybercapacitybuilding projects.
Yesterday at @RightsCon, the GFCE hosted a workshop alongside @OAS_Official, @GAC_Corporate and @DiplomacyEdu to discuss ethical considerations that underpin #cybercapacitybuilding projects, ranging from meaningful #inclusion, #sustainability to #gender equality. 👏

Fond memories, and happy to see after 2 years' worth of virtual meetings. #OSCE #Cyber FPs are true champions in their field, and I am looking forward to hearing about their achievements in 2023 under #TNTD coordination!.
Today we concluded the #TNTD organized Annual meeting of Field Operations’ cyber Focal Points in Vienna. Participants discussed #cyber activities of this year and plans for 2023, shared lessons learned and exchanged on challenges faced in #cyberCBM implementation.
