Satoshi's paper was titled "A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System" 17 years later, we have neither. Not peer-to-peer. Not cash. Here's why I invented Unicity to fix this. 🧵

Privacy isn't a feature. It's the foundation of freedom. Without privacy, there is no free speech, no free association. Unicity is infrastructure for a free internet.

Growing up in a surveillance state teaches you something: Privacy isn't about hiding. It's about freedom. Кто контролирует данные — тот контролирует людей. (Whoever controls the data controls the people.)

What if each token was its own self-contained proof? Self-authenticating. Moving directly from peer to peer. No shared ledger. No global state. No one watching. Same trust model as Bitcoin - but actual P2P. Actual privacy at scale.

What does "cash" actually mean? Cash is private. When I hand you cash, no one else knows. Blockchains today? Every transaction is visible forever. Your entire financial history, on a public ledger. That's not cash. That's surveillance infrastructure.

What does "peer-to-peer" actually mean? It means I transfer to you something directly. No intermediary. No validator. No sequencer. Blockchains today? Every transaction goes through miners/validators and a global ledger. That's not P2P.
