I know someone was asking about this and I can confirm that @VMWEventBroker works with #vSphere8 without any issues! πŸ€™

While deploying @VMWEventBroker to #vSphere8 environment, I noticed some nice enhancements to the vSphere Plugin Management UI! πŸ‘Œ You can finally unregister plugin/extension using vSphere UI & no more MOB/API as shared back in 2010 https://t.co/0SdMAORC1K

TIL All existing and new #VMWonAWS SDDC can support vSphere UI Plugins built using the new remote plugin architecture! Previously, certain ones had to be added to allowList but now any new remote plugin will work w/just cloudadmin πŸ™Œ Also @VMWEventBroker UI plugin works too! πŸ₯³

[New] - Quick Tip - Enabling vCenter Events for NTP (Network Time Protocol) or PTP (Precision Time Protocol) operations https://t.co/vrFNE8EVNR ☝️@VMWEventBroker can nicely compliment the new NTP/PTP VC Events, especially for setting up notification or other automation!

This week I'm following a course on Tanzu Kubernetes Grid and Tanzu mission control. I learned about an appliance VEAB (VMware Event Broker Appliance). Need to play with that in my homelab. Any one of my followers already played with it? #vExpert #vCommunity

Yes! At @VMware, we've definitely seen diff implementations & patterns of "Multi-Cloud" directly from our customer base. It would be cool to collaborate w/community to have a common understanding. cc @kitcolbert

I think we need different words to describe different implementations of β€œmulti-cloud.” The reasons behind that decision and and what that actually means to different organizations is too vast for one title. Do you agree?

VEBA is super cool - serverless eventing for @vmware environments (and much more!). If you haven't looked into it yet, now's the time to check it out! Great work @lamw, @embano1, and the entire @VMWEventBroker team!

"I want to stick to VEBA for now due to its simplicity.” 😊 That’s been our goal from beginning, make it easy for ANYONE to build Event-Driven Automation w/o having to know about Event sources (in this case, vCenter) but extends to others including Horizon / Webhook Provider

@embano1 @lamw @alagoutte @VMWEventBroker Thanks. Guess I'll have to keep an eye on my function and maybe introduce some QA. My old self-made solution kept track of event sequences and resumed where it crashed but it had too many other flaws.πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈI want to stick to VEBA for now due to its simplicity.
