Hello, Campers!. Thank you for your ability to pivot today. We have talked with Stevenson and will have camp tomorrow (Tuesday) at the Stevenson VHAC courts (always weather permitting) for both the 7:30 and 9:00 classes. On Wednesday, we will move our camp back to the VHHS courts.

Monday, June 30: Due to a scheduling conflict at Stevenson, today’s 9:00 camp is canceled for all levels. Campers will be allowed a make-up session during the next 2 weeks to replace today’s missed camp. Please monitor your email, Remind, and X for further updates.

Wed. June 25: Provided it doesn’t rain, camp is on for today.

Wednesday, June 17: Although it’s not raining, the courts won’t be dry by 9:00, so today’s 9:00 classes are canceled. Friday is our make-up day. No camp tomorrow.

Wednesday, June 17: The rain has stopped, but the courts are too wet for the 7:30-9:00 class, so today’s 7:30 class is canceled and will be made up on Friday. I will check court conditions again at 8:15 to let the 9:00-10:30 class know if tennis is still on for today.

Friday, May 23: Enjoying your 1st day of summer vacation? Enjoy it more by heading over to Deerfield HS to watch the boys’ tennis compete at sectionals starting at noon. Good luck, Cougars!@VHHSAth.

Fri. May 9: Cougars play their 4th match in a row and come away with a 7-0 win over Maine East. Singles matches were tight with solid wins at all 3 spots. Cougars compete in the Palatine Invite tomorrow. @VHHSAth.

Thur. May 8: Cougars battled Warren last night and came away with wins at both Varsity & JV1. Varsity wins 6-2 with some great singles battles & JV1 wins 8-0. The Cougars play their 4th match in a row tonight hosting Maine East. @VHHSAth.

Tues. May 6: Senior night for the Cougars as we honored 8 tonight: Max, Ben, Asher, Rohit, Abdullah, Isaac, Daniel, and Aarush. Cougars take on Niles West and win 7-0. Match of the night at 2D w/ a 3rd set tie-break victory. Thank you to Coaches Hoveydai and Heier. @VHHSAth

Tues. April 29: Cougars take on Lake Forest in some Wizard of Oz weather and lose 6-2 at both varsity and JV1. Cougars look to rebound vs. Niles North tonight. @VHHSAth.

Fri. Apr. 24:.Cougars take on HP last night and both varsity and JV lose 6-1. Some close 3-set matches at both levels. Varsity will compete in the Warren Quad tomorrow along with Warren, Wauconda, and Libertyville. @VHHSAth.

Thur. Apr. 24: Cougars take on LHS last night & varsity goes the distance w/ a thrilling 3rd set super-breaker win at 3S to clinch a 4-3 win. Cougars also take 2 other supers at 2S & 4D to seal the victory. JV loses 5-3 going 2-2 in 3rd set breakers. HP up today (V-H). @VHHSAth.

Wed. April 23: Cougars lost at both levels last night vs. GBN. Varsity lost 9-0 with some close matches, and JV1 lost 8-0, also with close matches. Tonight is the cross-town classic as varsity plays at LHS and JV at VH. Hope to see you there!@VHHSAth.

Fri. April 4: Cougars take on Maine South last night. Varsity plays a 4-5 and ends up taking the match 6-3 in some tight singles matches. JV loses 7-3 but attacks the net well. @VHHSAth.

Wed. April 2: Cougars begin the season vs. ETHS in some tough conditions. Varsity battles hard but loses 4-3 and JV has close matches but loses 6-2. Cougars take on Maine South tomorrow. @VHHSAth.

25th Season Tennis Recap.Congrats on a stellar season! Varsity finishes w/ a 14-5 record, a 2nd place finish in conf., a 3rd place finish at sectionals w/ 2 qualifiers, and a 21st place finish at state. Individually, Kamila reaches 30 wins in both S&D, a new record. @VHHSAth.
