I was taught a long time ago that if I were to compare myself to anyone, it should be to my past self. Striving to be better than you were before is much healthier than coveting what someone else has. You can’t be the loser if you’re the only one in the race 🤙
Comparison is fine so long as you don’t let it turn you to pure negativity. Use it as a motivator to learn and better yourself. If it turns in to a “I have to beat them to be worth something” moment then step back and reassess.
