In observance of Independence Day, the college (TCC) closed at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 3. All classes, services, activities & the Joint-Use Library are canceled. The VBPL Staff will be doing holds pick-up tonight (2pm - 7pm) and all-day Saturday (9am -5pm).

The Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library will close early at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30. All VBPL branches will be closed on Thursday, May 1 for a staff in-service day.

Due to construction at the Windsor Woods Area Library, the lane to exit the branch will be closed on S. Plaza Trail from 4/14-4/18. Customers will need to use the entrance lane as the exit lane too. It's the road between the library and the fire station.

The public computer outage is now isolated to the Kempsville, Bayside, Oceanfront, and Central Library branches. There are limited computers available at those four locations. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to resolve the outage as quickly as possible.
