Now the real loss begins. PayPal does not use the market exchange rate. It adds a currency conversion spread, often around 3 to 4%. If the market rate is 1,600 naira per dollar, PayPal might convert around 1,540 to 1,550. On $95.30, that gap can cost you another 4 to 6 dollars
