An enormous thank you to the many patients that contributed to this advancement by selflessly providing urine specimens prior to biopsies. This was a huge team effort, and we’re hopeful 🙏 the new test will contribute to better care for patients everywhere.

As in the publication, my potential COI: LynxDx, which commercializes the MPS test for clinical use (co-founder, advisor).

In short: At sites where MRI has known, high NPV, MRI could make sense as 1st test after PSA. In other settings, where MRI NPV is limited/unknown, biomarker performance (high rule-out) & practical features (objective, individualized, sent from clinic) could be more sensible.
