As a side project, I have been collecting white squirrel and other color morphs for 12 years. I have over 40K citizen science location reports. New ones are sent every day and I have NEVER seen one like this before. Thanks for this oddball! Made my day.

Occasionally I get to work as a cameraman on interesting projects. I feel blessed to have spent a few days with these ladies learning about the age-old tradition of dyeing with indigo and other plants.

Well, @haleybot and I made it through all of the ancient structures on the Acropolis without getting emotional until the symphony set up in the big amphitheater at sunset. 😂

Not going to lie, it's weird being the only person at an archeological site that was the center of the spiritual world in ancient Greece - for nearly 2000 years! I really would have thought more people would be here, it's only 13 miles from Athens and it has descent access.

This is Eleusis, the spiritual center of Greece for nearly 2000 years. Despite that, @haleybot and I are the only ones here at the moment. We are looking through the rubble and broken columns for clues that might have been overlooked by those with a different perspective.

I stay mostly apolitical in my science communication work—but I gravitate toward relevant, high-stakes topics. From a strategy lens, I’d definitely bring this one up. The message has long been “climate,” but did this help or hurt? Maybe minds are already made up on both sides.
