What were you doing on June 6? Were you one of the 10,000 people who joined us on the national mall? We rallied for veteran jobs. We rallied to protect the VA. We rallied in support of the Constitution. Relive the experience now. . . https://t.co/x62dwb4Xmx

We urge the VA to reverse course on any staff reductions that would limit the effectiveness of the Veterans Benefits Administration and to rein in non-accredited claims processing organizations. 4/4

Fraud should be addressed — but not at the expense of millions of veterans who rely on these benefits in good faith. The VA could be more transparent about the numbers of unaccredited companies involved in claims. It could work to improve its disability claims process. 3/4

While fraud and the misuse of taxpayer dollars is a concern that every American should have, these articles present an inaccurate picture of the veteran community. We've spent the last 20 years fighting America’s longest wars, a fact the articles fail to mention. 2/4

We are concerned that @washingtonpost's recent articles on #VAFraud misrepresent the veteran community & cast disabled veterans in a negative light. We fear they will be justify further erosions to services for veterans who have sacrificed so much for us. https://t.co/XlefYbFimz

All Americans have the right to protest. No one should be arrested for protesting. Veterans swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution. We know this protestor's actions are protected by the Constitution.

Trump’s masked gestapo just shoved a Common Defense member and Air Force veteran to the ground and arrested him for peacefully protesting in Illinois. The lawlessness of this regime must end — and he must be released immediately!

We strongly condemn the recent decision by the Trump Administration to cap the size of the VA workforce and eliminate tens of thousands of jobs. It's pulling doctors, nurses, & mental health providers out of the system veterans rely on for healthcare. https://t.co/1DVD85WTGf

This is a new Labor Day for veterans. Earlier this month the VA terminated its federal union contracts leaving over 350,000 employees without union protection. And moving one more step toward privatizing veteran care. @RollingStone https://t.co/vso25Xmku9

The Department of Veterans Affairs is celebrating Labor Day by killing its employees' ability to unionize, another step toward privatizing care.

“The National Guard is a powerful force when it arrives on a disaster scene to save lives, but an uneasy one when it is turned against civilians.” In The Atlantic, TCN CEO Chris Purdy warns what’s lost when we misuse our citizen soldiers. https://t.co/9SF1q2TfJz

Today’s call-up of the National Guard from WVto D.C. is part of a pattern. No request from D.C. officials. No federal emergency. Just political optics in uniform. These Guard members should be home, training for real missions—not caught in a photo op. #KeepTheGuardHome

After Kabul fell, @shawnjvandiver and I worked w/ U.S. military and civil society to evacuate thousands of Afghan allies. Today, that system is inverted, and bases have been turned into detention sites. This puts at risk the life-saving work civil society has done since 2021

Veterans' "benefits are earned, not gifted. Denying care to any veteran — because of who they voted for, who they married or how they worship — is not just immoral. It is an act of violence against those who risked their lives to protect our freedoms."

Doug Collins promised us that veterans’ healthcare would not be impacted by the VA's reduction of 30,000 workers through a combination of attrition, a hiring freeze and deferred resignation program. We served this country. Now it’s time for our country to keep its promise to us.
