For example, currently 90% of shares in a co-operative must be owned by members. This makes it hard to raise funds from charitable foundations, specialty funds, or non-members who want to support the mission of a co-operative.

Excited that Union is part of the BUILD NOW team. The ambition is to build 7,000 affordable homes for ownership, and 3,000 affordable homes for rent.
