Today, @eu_echo Silvya Bolliger, witnessed firsthand the incredible work of @MhssNamibia Community Health worker, Kakuva. Silvya joined him on his routine visits to several households, where he offered vital support and guidance to mothers and children.

@eu_echo Silvya Bolliger expressed her appreciation for the efforts and achievements of @MhssNamibia in delivering lifesaving interventions to affected communities in response to the severe impacts of drought in hard-hit regions such as Kunene.

During the briefing meeting, Dr. Magnus Ruta @MhssNamibia emphasized the importance of the outreach programme, noting that the region is sparsely populated, with communities often having to travel an average of 120 km to reach the nearest health facility.
