@JoshPateCFB @hoosier3345 this x1000 we need to move away from "ranked" wins as the only 1 or 0 option and do a college basketball ranking that ranks the wins in tiers top 10, 11-25, 26-50,51-75-76+ Not looking this up but my guess is Texas has like 7+ wins in tier 3 and IU as 7+ wins in tier 4/5

Excited to see the young guys play in the Cheeze it bowl. I wonder how much Arch will play. Hopefully that game is just a full evaluation of what we have and who we want to keep.

Are Alabama’s 10 wins more impressive than Texas 9? No. Let’s look at the losses. Florida’s state (worse than UF) OU (we beat them straight up) UGA (worse than our loss but they did beat them earlier). Texas > Alabama

The quality of athlete in this UGA/Alabama game is in stark contrast to the B12 CCG. Big leagues vs minor leagues. Wild people just compare records when the talent disparity is like this.

Spot on. When A&M plays Notre Dame next year and Texas plays Ohio State and etc, there's no reason to do it because you're better off just going 6-2 in the SEC and not putting that 10-2 overall at any sort of risk. I used the two in-state examples but it's for the entire SEC.
As someone with access to college tape and staff of 11 former NFL scouts that logged hundreds of hours evaluating this CFB season, it's easy to see why SEC coaches are upset with final playoff bracket. Based strictly off future NFL talent, Alabama, South Carolina, & Ole Miss

At the end of the day, I am going to stump for Texas until its 100% done. Then, will shake it off, stop ruminating on it, and look towards next year and be excited to play Ohio State at home. But until Sunday, the insufferableness will continue.
