Also the Watts movies are still great Spider-Man movies to me, I’ve obsessed over them (FFH eh). But once again, I’ve said it before, even your heroes can have bad to questionable takes you may even understand, but not 100% agree with, but you’re still a fan at the end of the day.

No one is asking for all web swinging scenes to be all practical, that’d be stupid. And I know Jon was only speaking from his experiences, and that’s fine. He still turned in some great movies (to me). However, it’s ALWAYS good to see innovation in places once thought impossible.

TASM 2 the game gets a bad reputation for appearance (amongst other things), but as far as the early movie concept art that Beenox was given they actually translated those designs fairly decently, despite the movie concept art not being the 1:1 final designs in the movie.

I’ve ALWAYS liked Watts+his movies, but it was a discouraging take is all. While CGI is *USED IN PEAK SWINGING STILL*, new visions in Spidey movies are EXACTLY where you *CAN* make innovations in practical swinging to be better with new ideas, even if it’s used sparingly. We win.
