Please don’t think that compassion, love and tolerance only belong to religion. They belong to human life. From compassion we develop self-confidence; that brings inner strength, allowing us to act with transparency and candour.

Waiting an hour to get and wait for the results from a "rapid" COVID test at a health clinic should tell you how absurd our healthcare system is. We need to do something different. #MedicareForAll

These days it’s realistic to work for co-existence on global level. It’s no longer appropriate to thinking only of ‘my country’. We must educate the young in the ways to achieve genuine world peace, taking the entire world, the whole of humanity, into account on a global level.

The struggle continues, @ninaturner. We love you, we support you, we see you, because you do the same for us. The road to power is a long one, but we will get there together. #SolidarityForever

Like anyone else, I too have anger in me. However, I try to recall that anger is a destructive emotion. Scientists say anger is bad for our health; it eats into our immune system. It destroys our peace of mind. We shouldn't welcome it or think of it as natural or as a friend.

The problems humanity faces today demand a positive mental attitude and a sense of compassion for others. I firmly believe we can solve the majority of our problems by developing a sense of universal responsibility—wanting to do something for others without a selfish motive.

Stop asking how we’re going to pay for it and start asking how we can afford not to.

Mike Gravel was the 1st political candidate I felt understood my values. As a long-shot candidate for President, I appreciated his candor & his seemingly unending quest for peace. Thank you, Sen. Gravel, for getting me into politics and showing me what authenticity looks like.
We are sad to announce that Senator Mike Gravel passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at his home in Seaside, California. He was 91, and had lived the fullest live anyone could have ever wanted. We will miss him every day.

22.5 years for murder. It's almost like Chauvin gets treated differently because of his gender and race or something. #TheStruggleContinues

Today, there is too strong a sense of ‘us’ and ‘them’. There’s too much sense of ‘my friends’ or ‘my enemy’. But we can change that. I’m committed to the idea of the oneness of humanity. As human beings we are all the same. What’s more we all have to live together on this planet.
