Update: he is home safe and I'm tidying him up as best I can while he's set up on the couch. I'm mostly running Curious Cat interference right now so Ike doesn't try to loaf on him.

My husband was in a multi-car wreck on the freeway and is currently in the E.R. So far, it's wrists, lacerations, a seatbelt welt (attaboy!) and lots of torso soreness. He's been covered since they shared his clothes so I don't know more but he's alert and present.
