A new year is approaching. It’s never too late to start taking care of yourself and exercising. Just walk if that’s all you can do, for whatever reason. We had a gym member named Lee for years. Dude was in his late 80s. He didn’t start working out until he retired in his 60s.

I was saddened to hear about the passing of John Madden, at age 85. One the all-time greats, he showed me the ropes during our brief football partnership. He was always kind and delightful. He can now join his former partner, Pat Summerall, in calling Super Bowls in heaven.
