Update: The first promo tweet seems to be a bust. Yes, it's had nearly 8k views - but only 24 likes. No new followers. Nobody clicking the link to check out the show. It may be because of X suddenly not embedding broadcasts so people have to click a link to see it instead of it.

The novelty song "Gimme Dat Ding" by the Pipkins was first released in 1970 in the UK. It's been used in a number of UK commercials, but it sounds familiar to some of us Americans, too - does anybody know what ad it was used for here?. Dog treats? Candy bar? It's driving me nuts!.

Some good advice for #indiemusicians. I understand some folks have trouble categorizing themselves - I did, until I came up with the genre of "house funk" - but you have to give people something they can grab hold of if you want their attention.
No genre in bio?. Tells us and millions more that you’re not pushing your music, you don’t care if your music is found, you will be harder to find for music lovers, journos, promoters, label, radio, music platforms, algorithms and much more. No genre also means you won’t attract
