I 100% support this. Railway stations should be transformed into something similar as airports. Then only it will remain clean. Gutka etc all should go away.
BIG BREAKING NEWS 🚨 Only confirmed ticket holders will be allowed to enter platforms at 60 railway stations. Big decision by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav to decongest stations. Those without a ticket or with a waiting list ticket will wait in the outside waiting area.

Isse tracks ke charo aur jo gandagi ka mauhaul (human+garbage) hai woh khatam hoga. Lots of improvement needed on Station planning. One way to reduce unnecessary foot loads on platforms is to increase rate of platform tickets to decent amount - say Rs 300-500 per ticket.
