We have shown that fully localized, three-dimensional, time-reversal-symmetry-broken insulators do not belong to a single phase of matter, but can realize topologically distinct phases, the topological localized insulators! You can find out more here:

We found chiral electrons in a nonchiral crystal, and probed them with nonlinear transport. They are switchable, too! Thanks for the amazing collab led by Philip Moll @MPSDHamburg with @mpi_CPfS @Gvamvim @mark_h_fischer . Now out in Nature
