All loans issued since Monday 16 December 2024 until Saturday 28th December 2024 are issued until Friday 3rd January 2025 and will then continue to renew automatically unless recalled. The normal seven day auto renewal loan period will resume from Thursday 2nd January 2025.

Our two new study booths are now available on the 1st floor of the PHL. The booths can fit up to 5 & have a large screen that can be connected to a laptop. You can book them using the My Timetable option on the student portal. https://t.co/6hqBO4YKOQ

Essential works to address ongoing issues with heating in the PHL are scheduled to start on Sat 23 Nov and may take up to 3 weeks. We will remain open throughout but please expect some noise. Free ear plugs are available from the ground floor desk should you need them.

There are also two small bookable study rooms on floors 1 and 3 where you can find solitude from the everyday bustle of the library.

If you are looking for a quiet space to study in the Paul Hamlyn Library, the Park side of the library on all three floors is reserved for individual study.

Our new bookable events space area is available for students to book for film showings & society events. The area is equipped with a large 85 inch screen, which you can use with a laptop, and movable tables and chairs that can be set up for an audience of up to 30 people.
