VTE was associated with ⬆️ all-cause mortality over long term follow up. Highest in cancer related VTE but even present for unprovoked VTE —> ♥️ At 5 years after, they were 2x more likely to die. ♥️ Risk persisted at 10 years ♥️ CVD was primary cause of death. #ISTH2025
