Kat served as a Hospital Corpsman in the Navy from 1993-1997, working as a respiratory therapy technician at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, and later in the reserves at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. Now, she’s making a difference as a research administrator at UTSA.
