At today's Convocation, we celebrated the great research continuing to happen at UTEP. We also welcomed new faculty, cheered our students' successes and announced $118 million in funding from @utsystem for campus revitalization! . Let's have a great school year!

Tonight @UTEPNursing welcomed 96 new nurses into the profession with a traditional Pinning Ceremony. 🏥 🩺 The emotional ceremony involves a significant individual in the nurse’s life placing a pin on the nurse in front of a large audience. Congrats, grads! 🎓

In the @uteplibrary Hertzog Room, you can see a replica of a printing press like those used in the 17th and 18th centuries. Letters and symbols were arranged by hand and covered in ink, and then paper was pressed on top to create the final product. Pretty neat!.#FoundatUTEP
